• IT ALL STARTS WITH FOOD •
SERV International began investing in the Turkana region of Kenya in 2006. Since then we have provided millions of meals throughout Turkana and the world. Our approach to building relationships and establishing trust is to provide for basic human needs. One of the most pressing needs in this region is food. That's why at every village that we go to, it's with food first.

• A REMOTE VILLAGE OF 300 IN THE TURKANA DESERT •
• OUR LOLEMGETE CAMPAIGN GOAL $50,000 •
CAMPAIGN ENDING DECEMBER 2019
The campaign's two-year objective is to bring Lolemgete’s focus off of a daily search for food and water, and help them build a sustainable environment that will strengthen their health, family, community, economy and faith.
Since 2006, SERV has worked in Lodwar and surrounding villages to distribute food, drill wells, house and educate vulnerable children and invest in communities. SERV started by distributing food in Lolupe, Kaakiring, Nabuskaal and Naotin, and each village has become a partnership. Churches have been built. Greenhouses have grown much-needed food. We are about to have our first students graduate from high school. We are encouraged by how much we have done, but there is still more to do.
We are now set on helping the people of Lolemgete transform their village. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of December 2019 to provide Food, Water, Shelter and Life. We are compelled to invest in Lolemgete because we met people there whose loved ones died of starvation and we saw the cloudy water they are forced to drink. Over the past decade our work has shown that a few changes can make a huge difference in the health and lives of people. So here’s what we want to do:
FOOD
$13,000 NEEDED
To fund nutritious SERV Food on a monthly basis for one year to create better health and to supplement food during this drought season.*
WATER
$31,000 NEEDED
To fund and drill a new clean water well in this village. $1,000 will go towards providing community clean water filtration buckets in this village.
SHELTER
$4,000 NEEDED
To fund / sponsor / rescue two 4 year old Lolemgete village orphans in critical need to live at SERV’s House of Hope Kenya childrens home and school.
LIFE
$2,000 NEEDED
To fund pastor training and a church structure for the Lolemgete community. Our ultimate goal is for a church to be established in each village we serve.
Will you partner with us to impact Lolemgete?
Let's SERV together.
*The Food Goal includes a greenhouse kit with plants, seeds, materials and training to continually grow fresh vegetables for this village.

• ABOUT SERV •
Since 2006, SERV International has been providing nutritious dehydrated meals to the people of Turkana in the northwest Kenyan desert facing constant drought and famine. SERV never gives hand outs and leaves for good. We go back, and keep going back to each and every village we invest in. Our Kenyan staff of 20 continue to followup and build relationships with all we come in contact with. We love watching villages in desperate need get back on their feet and create renewed communities thanks to SERV’s food, water, shelter, life projects and programs. We use all of our projects and programs as a platform to share the love of Christ.
